Famous is part of an award winning group of companies based in Tunbridge Wells. Founded in 2001 the group has provided print, direct mail, data management and marketing solutions to hundreds of clients across many sectors including IKEA, Mercedes and Celebrity Cruises. Famous is run by a team of experienced business professionals, all of whom have launched and scaled a number of successful multi-million pound businesses over a 30 year period. The team includes knowledgeable and passionate marketing, sales and growth professionals from a variety of backgrounds, with one key objective. To provide unrivalled creative, commercial and marketing support to its clients to help make their brands, Famous.

Famous is a growth agency and as such we love to function primarily on numbers and metrics, this helps us understand your business needs and expectations, whilst offering a transparent and measurable reporting process, giving you the confidence the strategy is working. Once we understand your key business objectives, we will be able to provide real, specific goals for our future working together. These goals are financial and volume led. The agreed goals are almost always SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely.

We offer two pricing structures, both of which are always bespoke based on the requirements of the client. The first is usually tailored to a single specific project such as a new website build and launch, the second is our retainer model which is designed to support you in the long term providing consistent and sustainable growth. For single bespoke projects we provide a free initial consultation followed by a detailed proposal with costs. Our two main retainer packages are outlined below:
Strategy Retainer
This is perfect for clients who initially only require help with a new growth strategy. Its starts with meetings, conversations and workshops followed by extensive research, so we can fully understand your requirements, challenges and opportunities. This includes agreeing the key metrics and numbers to be achieved. Over next few weeks we build a series of strategy reports which act as a road map to achieve the desired and agreed outcome. The final stage is the presentation of the strategy to the client. Our Strategy Retainer can be broken down into four main stages which includes full regular reporting on progress:
- Analysis: An overview of your present sales and marketing position, including resource, activity and results. Also the key aspects and objectives of the growth strategy, timeline and success metrics
- Research: Your current market sector position, unique selling points, products and pricing. Competitor analysis including products/services, sales & marketing activity, strengths, weaknesses, customer base and differentiators. Comprehensive customer profiling of demographics, spend, feedback and journey
- Review & Plan: Marketing and PR proposal with key activity, timescales, main channels and costs. Sales plan including structure, training requirements, software, milestones and proposed KPI’s
- Present Findings & Recommendations: Summary of the key findings, recommendations and implementation steps. We’ll also provide the client with a cost and plan for Famous to implement the suggested strategy to grow
You can then choose to either implement the strategy in house with existing resources or move onto our longer-term Growth Retainer package.

Growth Retainer
Our Growth Retainer includes the above strategy as the first stage of the process which following approval, then becomes a working document for our clients and the Famous Team to start implementing the agreed sales and marketing activity. We will utilise our own on and offline teams to create, implement and manage all marketing activity. From SEO and web development to graphic design and print, we’ve got you covered. Our experienced sales experts will also provide any sales activity support agreed in the strategy. You’ll have a dedicated Account Manager that ensures your goals are being met. They will run monthly update meetings and quarterly reviews with you that outline the work that has been completed, review progress and ensure that we are on track to deliver the results you need. Our Growth Retainer can be broken down into four main stages:
- Implementation: We put in the place the approved strategy plan actioning all the agreed sales and marketing tasks to the agreed timeframes. We will utilise our own talented teams to create, implement and manage all proposed sales and marketing activity
- Management: Famous provides complete remote daily management of the strategy plan ensuring all elements are implemented and run effectively
- Reporting: We will provide you with regular reporting on progress against the plan/strategy with any relevant stats and costs included.
- Reviewing: We suggest a monthly face to face (or Teams) meeting with you the client where we review the previous 4 weeks work and update you on the coming month, discussing any suggestions, changes or challenges with the agreed strategy
- Refining: After the monthly meeting, we will confirm in writing to you any changes or refining of the strategy based on findings to date. The strategy is live document and process, as such we constantly look to refine and adapt the approach to ensure maximum results
On completion of stage one, the Strategy Retainer package, we will provide you with a detailed proposal for Famous to implement the strategy and move your business onto our Growth Retainer package. This will include the initial services and support required, timeframe and costs.
