Our new UK hub delivers consistency and quality for multinational EY
The Background
Based in London, EY is a multinational professional services business and one of the largest networks in the world, with 700 offices in more than 150 countries providing assurance, tax, consulting and advisory services to its clients. Having various white papers, reports and brochures produced globally, EY were struggling to maintain consistency of their corporate brand, image and identity throughout the manufacturing and production process.
The Solution
FOX produced a full evaluation report and costing exercise to show that bringing the manufacturing to our central production site in the UK would enable us to bring consistency to all the brand materials while also maintaining stock levels for all assets. Standardising the stock and manufacturing of all products delivered consistency throughout and maintained the high level of brand management that EY demanded.
We set up an online storage and distribution system allowing 300,000 EY employees to access and view over 100 publications and order them with a few clicks of a button. By having storage and distribution facilities on-site, orders could be picked, packed, and delivered across 220 countries or territories within 24 hours.
The Results
The EY brand maintained its high-quality corporate identity. All reports requested via the global networks were now consistent, produced on approved high-quality materials to a very high standard. In addition to manufacturing the products, storing, and distributing these assets quickly and efficiently, FOX saved the client in excess of £400k per year.
